Thumbs down one sick puppy

hello mods i realize this should be in the ebay thread but this has merit enough to run as a separate thread. i would be grateful! if you feel it has to be moved i do understand.

while trolling thru ebay i found this item for auction.now i have seen some tacky stuff in reference to the late peter brock but this in my opinon would have to take the cake
it even includes a article from a "no idea" magazine saying from ex-wife "peter brock beat me" which may or may not be factual but for **** sake let the bloke go!
please have a look for yourselves and make -up your own minds.

People try to get rich off a person's death which is sad but reality. I know I've many times seen newspaper clippings for sale of Princess Di's death on ebay, even Ayrton Senna, and that was years ago. I have Ayrton Senna memorabilia like newspaper clippings, hat, t-shirt, books etc, I even have the recording of the accident because I happen to tape that race but would never try to profit by selling any of it. Have never even thought about it.

I guess I don't really agree or disagree with this sort of thing. It's low but at the same time, it's not harming anyone really. If you have something that could make you money, go for it if you want. I'm just saying I personally wouldn't.

Krissy.

its only newspaper clippings. if somebody wants to buy them so what. Not as if someone's knocked up a decorative plate or anything. The only thing that annoys me is how Bev is always titled his ex wife. I'm sure they never married. I do realise that the "peter beat me" article was from his previous partnership. and it's probably true.

Seller is a chip off the old Brock, just trying to make a buck.

Brocky put his name to anything, 'polariser' anyone? Yeah he needed the money to go racing as is his right (and good on him too), but he did sell his name to anything. But I have to admit, it is a tad sick but no sicker than any of the NASA, Steve Irwin jokes or the myriad of internet punts at the 9/11 events like the tetris clip etc.
