Default Au Central Locking

Hi guys,
Looking for help with an AU3 XR8,the central locking wont operate as the car thinks there is a door open, when it is locked with the keypad the horn beeps quickly and the car unlocks, does anybody know how to cure this?

I'm always amused as to how they can get things like this so wrong. All e-series (although completely different in the actuator design) have this problem as well, surely you'd think they'd have got it right for the AU!
