We don't really need a wagon any more now that the kids are out of the pram but I like the rear leg room and big boot of my work hack Fairlane so we're considering selling the AU wagon and picking up a nice AU Fairlane instead. My question is; will the poly Smartbar on the wagon swap over onto the front of an AU Fairlane? I hope so cos it might be a bit of a challenge to find an AU Fairlane specific smartbar these days.

I don't think it was an option on the Fairlane .. only on non-XR Falcon variants it was available IIRC.
Plus the AU Fairlane front is a totally different shape ... the AU sedan/wagon front is more curved.
