mmmm maybe i should have been a little clearer, was basically asking if this new stall converter would give a similar gain to what a manual conversion would...guess i didnt need to rabble on about swapping auto's though

Then you may be doomed to constantly changing autos and the associated costs. Just get yours rebuilt right the first time and add the stall.
