'203 km/h (126 mph)' as quoted from wikipedia.org

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Fo...ternational%29

I've never tried it so can't confirm or deny that figure from experience!!

There is a rev limiter (unless you've moved it!), not sure about speed limiter

Best I could muster at Wakefield park was about 140-145 on the main straight, not that it really matters to you.

Going back in June so I'll kick it a little harder and see what happens.

I've gone 180km/h in my LR Zetec manual. But I didn't want to go any faster as it was getting a little bit light in the tail

A 2.0 LR Zetec will pull 130km/h at the top of third.

Well the LR speedo goes to 220km/h so I wonder what the car can achieve on an unrestricted autobahn in Europe? I've seen 170km/h on mine with a feeling of it's got plenty to go.

I used to see some of these signs in country N.S.W. and this one is from the previously-unrestricted roads in the Northern Territory.

No way they'd do 220, they'd nudge 200km/h at an absolute stretch

ive had mine up to 190km/h, and it had a bit more revs in it, but it was taking way to long to increase acceleration (1km/h every 2 seconds) so i had too back off. and also this was done in my drive way(private property).
it pulls decently until about 160 then goes slowly to 175 and then drains it until i got to 190.
decent effort from a bog stock 4, but i would have liked to see it go a little bit more since it still had more revs in it

Might be irrelevant, but the last model of Laser before the Focus came out has no speed limiter - just a rev limiter. 7500+ in 5th gear is an indicated 192kph.
