Default BF Radio reception troubles

Hi Fadi.
Im not sure if i should ask here. i have a feb 07 BF XR6, i am having alot of trouble getting a strong signal for local radio stations, is there an upgrade other than mounting and external antenna that will help pick up the signal? i have mounted a glass mount antenna and have a double adapter that lets me plug the factory and the after market antenna's in and im still struggling to pick up signal.
Do you have any hints?

Thanks

hi

just wondering if you are using the right tint on your vehicle since the antenna built in in the rear windscreen?

you need to try an external antenna, plug it in on the bask of the cd module and if the problem stil exist, may be a ford dealer can request a changeover for you. im assuming ur car still in warranty. The ford dealer has to order a complete ICC for you.

cheers

Hey mate yeah i have tried an external antenna, i cut the tint around the glass mount one i have. but its still not the best. I have also had a double adapter made so the factory and glass mount are connected. looks like its off to ford for me. wonder how much extra for a colour screen? mmmmmm
