Default BA GT kit onto AU's

has anyone seen the BA GT style kits now available for the AU's? was looking at them the other day. as far as aftermarket kits for the AU i think they look better than the ts50's, hawks, havoks and all the others imo. i tried looking for it just then but could only find the BA GT rears on an AU. For some reason they've taken the BA GT front for the AU off ebay and their website. their website is www.phatcustomkits.com.au

anyway, i was gonna ask what u guys thought about the kit, u can still see the rear on their site, but as for the front, who knows what's going on there. looked really nice in my opinion.

Much better than I was expecting.

Would love so see one photoshopped with the XR headlights in place instead... as i dont think it looks right around the headlights... and i think it needs some sort of grille...

Can someone photochop this with the series 3 XR headlights, throw in the grilled teeth of an LTD into the opening and the chromed fairmont bonnet piece (unsure of name).

each to their own. i think they look really nice with the slanted AU bonnet and headlights. it's a completely differant look to the BA's. imo it's as if ford should have bought this kit out for the AU's but unfortunately was a little ahead of their time.

speaking of shocking, i noticed you're putting a BA bonnet bulge on your AU... i can't see how u could be in a position to criticize.

IMO the boss bonet suits the AU better than what it suits the BA/F's.
I've had a few people say this too. It's to do with the taper on the buldge and how it tapers in a smilar way to the low seriers bonnet.

But I'd hope that was the case. I have one

As for BF kit, looks alright, been considering it myself, but think my custom bar will be better and more individual.
Also, this bar with XR lights, a while back i found a company that made them and had an internet site. But buggered if i could find it again.

Cheers

Ok, some searching reveals this

XR lights and grill with what looks to be BA GT
http://ford-falcon.bodykits.aerotech...D%2020248.html

Non XR without grill
http://ford-falcon.bodykits.aerotech...D%2020249.html

Cheers

Well, sell it, buy a Jap or Korean car, change your tag from "beamandcoke" to "rice wine" and we will all be happy.
