Well done Mauzi, well deserved, also another BA turbo went 9.8 tonight as well didn't see if he backed it up or got better but is that now the new record??

On a seperate issue tonight I came to the definite conclusion that the clowns at Clown Park Rejects haven't got the slightest idea how to run an event that people will want to go back to. They decided, after an XB spat out an axle, that they might just lay some extra rubber on the track because a few guys complained about traction in the mid track. Now I'm no professional but even as a lay person would think that the 11 odd hours from sunrise Friday morning till the start of the night that someone with even half a brain between the whole town might stop and check the track condition to see if it will be ok for the nights session.

These clowns stopped racing and put on the sole burnout comp entrant as a bit of light enetertainment, they didn't even let him blow the tyres!!!!!! then made us all wait almost an hour before the track surface was ready to run. If I want to see tractors leaving patches I'll go to a tractor pull, probably be cheaper too.

For this I give huge credit to Russ at Heathcote Park, he's got someone out their well before the race starts prepping the track suface, sure they don't get it perfect every time but at the same time it doesn't take them over an hour to re prep. I think this is because he understands that people who pay there money whether it be to watch or to race want to do exactly what they payed for, they don't want to be watching tractors doing circle work.

He will be surely missed from the sport when he hands it over, let's just hope the new owner is as friendly and helpful as well as being someone that understands what people want not just how much he can make from us.

Sounds like Calder were up to its old ways.

I'm shore that will look good if Bob ever gets any major event back at calder Park they stop the meet for a Hour and prep the track. Sound like calder is as stuffed as always.

One day they may get it right if Bob sells up.

Thanks for that Glenn, after watching that video I now realise I have some work to do at the rear of the car. I had some "experimental" bits in the car that need some fine tuning.

See you there in two weeks.

Cheers Craig
