Meet Details: 10am @ Lilydale Stockland, Lilydale [Melways Map 38 E5] for 10:15am departure

Summary: Warburton Highway, Wandin North, Seville, ETC? Warburton, End of the Warburton Hwy, Upper Yarra Dam (Lunch), Cambarville, Marysville, Buxton, Healsville, Home.

Details: Starting at Lilydale Stockland, as the response is going looks to be a good number of both XR4 and XR5T?s, Hopefully mixed colours. We Request you?re fuelled up before arrival, We?ll head out along the Maroondah Hwy until we reach the Warburton Hwy turnoff, cruising along we?ll go through a few small towns (Don?t blink) until we reach Warburton, we?ll pull over here just in case we need to catch anybody up. Turning down along Woods Point Rd we?ll head along until we reach the Upper Yarra Dam entry at which point we will stop have lunch and photo ops where available.

After lunch we?ll head back out, continuing up along Woods Point Rd through Reefton, further along we?ll pass through Cambarville on our way to Marysville and Buxton, where we turn around and come back onto the Maroohndah Hwy towards the city after we come through Narbethong we be in for some more adventurous roads. Hopefully about half way to Healsville we will be able to detour and drive fairly tightly along the south-eastern edge of the Maroondah Reservoir along what google maps calls Road Thirsty two, before getting back onto the main road and finishing with a nice smooth sail into Healsville for a relaxing drink at the RSL.

So people tell me what do you think, are you excited yet? A Definite date has been confirmed and approved by most of the guys, but as i said in another post... You normally go to church? too bad you have a cruise. Boss wants you to work? too bad you have a cruise. Kids playing footy? too bad you have a cruise.
