Default Stalling...

Guys replaced my altenator on the weekend which obviously means the battery was disconnected for a bit over an hour or so. I know this 'resets' the ecu and it takes a while for the car to relearn but the car is still stalling when I come to a complete stop, even after travelling around 250km since. Is there any sort of procedure to help relearn the base idle? Or is it just a matter of racking up a few kms? It doesn't seem to be getting any better.

Thanks

Turn the ignition on to illuminate the dash lights and leave it for half an hour. This will allow the ecu to settle with the bcm. Then turn the key off and start as normal and go through normal ecu learning mode. 2 mins idle in neautral then 2 in drive 2 in drive with A/C on and 2 in N with A/C on. Should be right then. Maybe

mate i have the exact same problem with my falcon when i disconnect the battery, even just quickly. what i do i idle the car in neutral for 5mins with the ac off, and 5mins with the ac on. and it fixes it right up. The car rarely will drop in RPM when coming to a stop after that, but that i think is nothing to do with your problem.

Thanks fellas tried both of the above, as well as cleaning the ISC valve and this thing is still running like a dog. Clutch in and brake to a complete stop and then it doesn't know where to find idle, drops to about 200rpm and 1 out of 2 times it won't bounce back up, it stalls. Any other suggestions guys? It was cherry ripe before the alternator was replaced :

My IAC was screwing up, and i had to get the computer reset, it cost me $20 and it runs good. mine wasnt stalling but everytime i got to a set of lights or any where i had to break and wait, it would drop down to about 200rpm or less and shake like a until i accalarated to keep the revs up.
