Default bumper question

Hi all fordies,I have a Q relating to xk-xl front bumper(61-62 vintage),is the front bumper straight or do they have slight bend from end to end,one side of mine is straight the other is slightly bent in toward the car,thanks in advance

They are not perfectly flat, yours does sound like it has had some minor adjustment though. Got a photo?
Early XK bars have a plate size suitable for the smaller American number plate,
what is yours?
