Default Toyota to make hybrid car in Melbourne

Interesting to see and if comparitively priced should do very well with those that look at Mid sized vehicles.

This will put Ford and Holden under a lot of pressure - with many fleet buyers (including the government) looking at a locally produced hybrid cars, this will cost the Falcon and Commodore sales

Good to see Rudd giving a Japanese car manufacturer (Toyota) a helping hand in Australia. I wonder what he'll offer Ford and Holden now the benchmark has been set.

lol. Shows the difference and levels of interest a headline can make on the same subject. ABC vs Today Tonight.

Can this one as "Falcon is Doomed" is much more accurate.

Kevin Rudd is a nob, giving toyota 35 mill that Ford or Holden could use to help keep these established Austalian companies strong. Glad i didn't vote for this Asian loving pope-wannabe.

There's another thread.

Nikked, you can go away for a couple of days and consider your attitude.
