Default What's this light?

I was driving for over an hour the other day and the orange light next to my trip computer blinked once (that I saw) but maybe more. Does anyone know what this light means or indicates?

Could it be like a snowflake because it could be telling you the tempture is 5 degrees and under then turns red when it is below 0

no it wasnt the snowflake. it was directly to the left of the trip computer...ther is a red light to the right of the trip computer which illuminates when a door is open.

Yes the one on the left is orange, I've noticed my blink as well but it does it very rarely and as far as I know for no reason at all.

I just looked in the manual and it isn't mentioned. I'm curious as well.

Those red and orange lights come on when the car is displaying a message or warning in the trip display. It displays either the red or orange depending on how important the warning is. Try to catch what is written in the display next time it blinks on.

Well the thing is it doesn't display anything, it blinks for a split second and that's it. Originally I thought I was hallucinating or something.

on some diesel the orange light may indicate the glow plug's are in use.
this rearly happens if the intake is too cold,
pay attenion to the water temp guage and outside air temp, you may have to put a vinyl radiator cover on in winter.

the only time my focus has done that was when the light was red and was "on" with the message displaying the message "power steering failure". drove for a bit, pulled over, turned it off, started it up again and hasn't happened since. i believe it was caused by an air bubble
