Quick and easy (sounds like some of the men on the forums!!! :evil_laug ) Chocolate cake Ingredients: 3 tbsp melted butter 2 eggs 1 cup sugar 1 cup sr flour 3 tbsp cocoa 1/2 cup milk 1/2 tsp vanilla essence Method: Heat oven to 180C. Put all ingredients except the butter into a bowl and beat until well combined. Pour in the warm butter and beat for about 3 mins. Pour into a greased and floured cake tin, bake for about 40 mins. Icing: 1 cup icing mixture 2 drops vanilla 1 tbsp boiling water (approx) 1 tsp butter, melted in the water. If you want it choc flavoured to go with the choc cake, change the vanilla for a tbsp of cocoa and add a bit of extra water. Method: Beat all together, holding back some of the water to make sure the icing is just soft enough to spread but not too runny. Spread on the cold chocolate cake.

If you want a yummy icing mix to put on the cake, try doubling the icing mix that I wrote in the choc cake thread. It's really yummy, vanilla icing on banana bread!

I'll give you my favourite recipe, it also happens to be low fat:
Chicken Stronganoff 500g Chicken thigh fillets (cut into strips) 1 large brown onion (finely diced) 3 cloves of garlic (chopped - I love garlic so I put heaps in ) 10 button mushrooms (sliced - I love mushrooms so I put heaps in ) 1 tbsp Paprika 1 beef stock cube (2 if desired) 2 tbsp salt reduced tomato paste 2 tbsp Cornflour (can substitute Arrowroot here, doesn't lump) 1 tin Light Evaporated Milk Method Place chicken and garlic into hot frying pan with some olive oil and cook until chicken is brown constantly stirring. Add onions and cook until soft. Add mushrooms and cook for about 2 minutes. Add the paprika, stock cube(s) and tomato paste, stirring well until all is combined. Add the evaporated milk which has been mixed with the cornflour/arrowroot and stir until everything is combined. Simmer until sauce thickens and then add to cooked fettucini or other desired pasta. Serve with salad to have really healthy meal. Serves 2-4 people (depending on whether you are a guts or not) You will not be disappointed with this recipe! It is extremely flavoursome!

Once a week (usually wednesdays) is pasta night and the missus lets me do that meal as it's a favourite and I load it with meat
Basically it's your ordinary Spag Bog but along with the 500gm mince and the dolmio sauce, add in half an onion, 2 cloves garlic, sliced sausage or cabana, chopped bacon, spring onion, ham, chilli (lots), pepper (lots), herbs, chopped potato, and to make it a tad more healthy, some frozen peas & corn from the freezer. Bit of a rimstinger depending on the chilly usage, but damn it fills you up and serves about 5! I usually have enough left over after tea for smoko/lunch for 3 days...lol |

I think I just put on 10KG reading that recipe! Sounds super yummy, could halve it quite effectively (specially the cost of going through 16 eggs!).
