Default IRS diff gasket

hey all
I am changing the diff center in my AU IRS and i asked for a gasket at coventry autoparts and they didnt list one for the AU IRS diff??

where can i go to get one or how much will ford sting me??

also any tips when removing and refitting the diff and also the center(changing to LSD)

Gasket for the diff hat ?? No such thing

Use Ultra Blue or something for the seal

well they list a gasket for the live axle diff but not the IRS
so figured there must have been one..
if not.. out comes the ultra blue

yeah i'd ultra blue it, but i would have thought that the live axle gasket would be the same.

My old live axles never had gaskets

Just use silastic, better to use blue or red, and use a new tube you dont want it leaking. I used some old black stuff once and it leaked.

we use ultra blue on all diff hats, just ensure that the mating area of the hat to the housing is flat and clean
