How is everyone's mileage on there tyres?
We have done 36 000 ks and looks likely to get another 20 000. We have friends with a Yaris who only get 13000!!!! true.

I got 47000kms out of the factory tyres on my Zetec. Two were completely buggered, but would have probably gotten another 5000kms out of the other two if i hadnt have decided to change my rims.

Mines sitting at 77,000km now, and they've started to wear a bit. (Or as Matt puts it "He's running slicks!")
Looking at changing the tyres now, that or it's putting the back > front.

mines only hit 11700 Km's and you can see a difference big time in the rear wheels and the front tyres but it still sticks to the road like glue around corners so they cant be too bad.

Did approx 55,000 on the standard issue and approx the same on a set of Kumho Ecsta which are still on the car. The fronts are almost ready to be tossed, and as I haven't rotated the tyres the rears still have around 50% tread.
Stating the obvious but handling and braking worsen at the end of the tyre's life while you'll notice that road noise increases. |

Ive had my set of contis on for about 35-45thousand k's. they are still doing really well.
putting a set of Toyo T1-R's on this weekend. When i had the Fiesta i did 30 thousand on the stock 15" tyres and only used about 40% of tyre life. gave them to my sister to put on her car when Black Panther died and she still has them. probably done about 50thousand km on it. id say they are down to their last 10-20% and will need replacing by the end of the year.
