being a cousin of the falcon.. it understeers.. but that can be fixed by changing some of the suspension components (the same remedies as in a falcon.. i THINK its sway bars that need upgrading for ulimate turning)

a set of 18"+ wheels makes them handle ALOT sharper (16" rims offer great comfort but lack handling)

with a set of superlows and some decent shocks (boges or koni's or bilsteins) will have it handling GREAT (debs suprised how fast i can throw mine around a corner)

and weve given both our lanes a flogging over mt glorious and tambo and the sunshine coast hinterland etc with no dramas (brakes are an issue but with a set of slotted rotors and some decent pads they are fine on a Series 1)

Dont worry too much about handling. When I took both mine and then Blackers cars on the skid pan, the Fairlane felt half as big to drive hard, it handled GREAT, just nice and easy, much nicer than my Fairmont.
