Hey all, I'm after some advice on a decent pub in the outer west? I've got to meet someone staying in Penrith for a quick meal and a brew or two later later in the week but have no experience with pubs this side of town. Anything in reasonable driving distance (say 30mins).
Any suggestions appreciated. Cheers, Matt |

Try the log cabin, it has a nice outdoor eating area overlooking the river and
the food is great. You also have the Red Cow which has just been refurbished and is in the heart of penrith, upstairs has 5 dollar rump, chicken or fish with chips. Last edited by jason71; 28-08-2008 at 12:30 AM. |

The Mean Fiddler.
Someone will have to confirm it's address but I think it's on Windsor Rd.

Right next door to Rouse Hill Shooping Mall ... can't miss it.
The Alroy is pretty damn good I must admit. Red Cow is good as well Panthers is overrated. Cricketer's Arms does nice lunches ... and is quaint I guess ... good to sit outside on a sunny weekend there.
