Windsor block with Clevelands heads = Boss, a very sweet engine.

yeah but the beastest motor ford made was the 427 SOHC cramer shame it was done in such small number and never put in to a car

Thread mining eh dreadly?

I prefer the 3V to the Boss (current one that is) but I am shopping around for a 5.0L Windsor again atm.

Sheesh, another poll, well what the heck, might as well throw my 2 bobs in on this one.

Boss/an engine for its time, technically way ahead of anything GM offers, lacks a bit down low but that seems to be the trend with modern V8's, same with Ls1/2/9/12 etc.

Cleveland/ last one I owned was back in 82 in a XD, plenty down low, plenty up high as well, crap loads of torque, not a quick car by todays GT/F6 standards, a truck motor and felt like one.
Huge potential though.

Windsor/ a brilliant small block, crap loads down low, lacks a bit up high, last of an era we will never see again with a racing history unmatched by any other Ford engine, love em, my pick of the three.
