Has any one ever known to have a fiesta run in gas? would it be worth it and if so where would i get this done

If you're finding it too expensive to run a fiesta on petrol, may I suggest you buy a push bike!!!!!

I saw a LT Focus CL sedan on Gas the other day and it went very well
 .Seeing as there's heaps of Injected gas kits in Europe available for small cars you should be able to find an installer that can source one. Check out the gas forum for their opinion.

I'd be surprised if it couldn't be done, but with the cost of gas being so cheap, you may as well give yourself some real power...

I'm no expert, but would imagine it would take a very long time to recoup the installations costs- and what little boot you had would be gone..............

i had a friend convert his old Ztec fiesta a few months back 45l tank...... 500k to a tank and manual 2750 install cost.. minus 2000 from govt

heres a quick summary to help the thought process
If you were $750 out of pocket to install it, it would take about 13,750klm of driving to get your money back. That's based on todays petrol and gas prices and using 20% more gas to petrol... So using the same figures you would save about $545 every 10,000klms after that, if the price gap stays the same as it is currently (adveraging 90 cents from what i've seen here in Melbourne) Don't for get that gas is in its 2nd(?) year of a five year excise increase. so it will go up 2.5cents a year in tax for the next few years, but at the rate fuel has gone up that's nothing... Another spin is the price of oil is low, so who know is pertol prices will start to stay stable for a while or even drop..? there you go, my fence sitting 2 cents :

13,000km thats under a month of driving for me :P
in not a professional driver, i just live in the middle of no-where and drive to work in sydney every day... once i stop driving extra distance though that figure will drop to about 6.5k a month im already enjoying lpg

If you're doing high klm and/or keeping the car for more than a few years it would be hard not to be convinced to convert, for sure...

WHAT!!!! i was there a week ago and saw it no-higer then 67.9! in brisbane where im driving on monday its 55!

he's talking about the price gap (I.e. The difference between the price of petrol and the price of gas) of 90c not gas selling for 90c!!

If you get injected LPG (SVI or VSI), it would cost around $4k, but you'd get similar economy to petrol. I have to ask why though? If you want a car on gas, get a big car - that's the whole idea; 6 cyl power, with 4cyl fuel costs.

Is there room under the Fez's bonnet for the gas parts ?
I have a WQ Zetec auto, and get 38mpg around Brizvegas . My Fairmont Ghia gets around 25mpg, don't see the need for gas. But, each to there own .

true.... but after copping a blow out a couple of months ago - i' not inclined to run without a spare (even the god-awful thing they have in them- i have a full size spare at home) and wouldn't want to re-do the current boot with a new screw down for the wheel, but that's only me.
