Default Movember

Hi All,

During Movember (the month formerly known as November) Brenden is shaving it all off and starting again. we are asking for your donations which go towards helping the fight against men's depression and prostate cancer.

To donate please PM either Brenden or I and we can pass along some bank details also include an address with the PM so we can send you a receipt because Remember, all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

The money raised by Movember is used to raise awareness of men's health issues and donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and beyondblue - the national depression initiative. The PCFA and beyondblue will use the funds to fund research and increase support networks for those men who suffer from prostate cancer and depression.

Did you know:

Depression affects 1 in 6 men....most don't seek help. Untreated depression is a leading risk factor for suicide.
Last year in Australia 18,700 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer and more than 2,900 died of prostate cancer - equivalent to the number of women who will die from breast cancer annually.
For those that have supported Movember in previous years you can be very proud of the impact it has had and can check out the details at: [ Fundraising Outcomes ].

More information is available at the Movember website

We will post a before and after picture when it happens

Thanks guys!!!

oh yeah ... should be wierd having no beard lol..
had that thing for a good 3 years.. only shaved it off due to working in the food industry for 3 days haha (the owners of that business had no idea what they wanted from an employee)
so actually had it longer..

BLUEPRINT you have to shave on the 1st of november and then see what u get at the end of the month haha

Unfortunately I look like a pedophile if I have any sort of facial hair, however I will be doing my part for this cause.

I was diagnosed with depression (Various disorders) 9 years ago. It has been a constant struggle since. However as has been mentioned, many men dont seek help, for some its because they see it as a weakness, for others, its because they think 'They'll be right'.

But its important to know that Depression is not just in your head. You're not just having a sook. In many cases it is a chemical and physical problem, and is definately not to be ignored.

To anyone who may be having some sort of problem, and keeping it to themselves, go and see your doctor.

I'm also taking part in movember.

I didn't take a snap on the 1st when I shaved, so I have a weeks growth now.
I will take a snap tonight and post it up on my mospace.

To donate to my Mo you can either:
1. Click this link https://www.movember.com/au/donate/d...351&country=au and donate online using your credit card or PayPal account, or
2. Write a cheque payable to ‘Movember Foundation', referencing my Registration Number 1831351 and mailing it to:
Movember Foundation
PO Box 292
Prahran VIC 3181
Remember, all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Geez blackers, you do look so different without it.
I wasn't sure what you would look like without the growth but doesn't look to bad.
Good for you participating
and Deb, it won't take long for it to be all back there again (hide him in the cupboard till it grows if you must : )
