I am thinking that I might head over to Calder after this for a couple of runs if anyone's interested?

A couple of runs is probably all you will get if it's as well organised as last time.

If its too wet for BBQ, then either Maccas or a counter meal at the pub may be the go...

I had a good day out.
Suprised that it only took around 35-40 minutes from the City.
I think last time I went to Geelong, it took near on an hour, it was when it was only 2 lanes all the way to Geelong. Sat near on 100 all the way.
Great to catch up in person.

Nice musical tunes with the horns, guys! Well be musicians in no time......

I diverted off, on the way back, thru Tarneit. Had a lot of childhood memories around there back in the 70's and 80's.
Wow, it's civilised out there (OMG). But the best still remains.

I lived my childhood memory of driving down Doherty's Road (heading back towards the city). Friggn hilarious. There is a massive bump in the road, with a few twisties in it. If you go through there about 80-90, you hit the dip and get airborne.
We used to do it in my grandfathers P/V and we used to sit in the back, tell him to gun it and we would get airborne. Massive laughs.
This road hasn't changed in 30 odd years.LMAO!

Well, i called in to see my Dad on the way back, he wasnt home so i sat for 35 mins in prahran and waited (he doesn't usually go far) then called my step mum who told me dad was in hospital in Sunshine after tripping over a Chep Pallet at work and breaking shoulder, arm, shattering his elbow and brusing his knee, he hadto go off in the ambo and had an opperation too insert a steel plate in his elbow to hold all the bits together, He is going to be off work for about 6 weeks and its their busyest time so its not so bad for him... Was a great run to geelong though good laughs as usual...

There's two servo's on the westgate. We were there about 10 and left the servo at 11:30.
I think in future if you organise it you need to put your number in the OP. Mind you dan did put his number up but that was after we were at the servo. lol

Daniel, nice pics ;)

Now what was that we were saying around that Barra engine....Oh that's right, "Sell it to GORDZ".
Free to good home Gordz, all you have to do is go to Geelong and pick it up ;)

Just before you go in, remember to take your RACV card and get a discount before you grab the motor.
Tell them AFF sent ya.!
LMAO!
