Has anybody heard of these filters? They are supposed to flow up to 30% better than your standard paperfilter, but cost half the price of your usual K&N panel filter.
This place www.fabre.com.au sells them for around $60 to suit my car. I'm not sure if I should get it or not. It also looks to be a re-usable type filter too.

Haven't had any experience with the panel filter, but pipercross is a huge brand name in the UK. Pipercross supply (supplied?) the air filter systems for the Ford Focus WRC team, so they do know what they are doing. Shouldn't be an issue with them. A very reputable brand

Pipercross make Foam filters as far as i remember, and they are very good.

A lot of people with focus' in the UK use pipercross gear, meant to be really good stuff.... $60 cant really go wrong to give it a shot either.
