I'm looking for a series 2/3 XR6/XR8 front bar, but I'm only gonna hack it up, so I'd prefer to buy a slightly damaged bar if I can.
As long as the bar is whole, then I'd be interested, cracks and scratches are fine. If is completely buckled/snapped in half/melted/etc I'll give it a miss. I only need the bar, dont need the lights or indicators or anything else.

Well rather than clutering up the driving light thread. I'll post here.
I've got the same idea mate. But i'm going to do the bottom of the xr bar, as well as the grill. Then fill in the holes. I've already got the bar, just need the time. Hopefully will start on it again in 2 weeks time. Already gave it a slight go, but am going to try again. The glassing effort wasn't that good. We floated this idea a year ago too: http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...ghlight=hybrid Cheers

Yeah I've made 2 bars so far, just trying to figure out which one I like best. The reason I want to make it just the front bar, is so if someone with a Fairmont wants the bar, they can have the sporty look, without losing the class of the Fairmont grille and bonnet etc. That and I want to put in an aftermarket grille. It just makes it more accessable to potential buyers being 'universal' having the bar section only.
I also just put a quick photoshop (done in MS Paint) in the other thread.

The T2 is already a high series bonnet. Dont mean to sound like Google, but, Did you mean Low series bonnet?
I've thought about that myself, as I like the T1/T2's.
