Default Large LCD display Focus

Hi all,

I am new to Ford forums having purchased my 06 Focus LX hatch just a month ago.

I was browsing the ebay uk site and I came along this item
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-FOCUS-MK3...QQcmdZViewItem

Has anyone come accross these displays in the past? If so, Is it possible to attach this to a standard focus with just a reprogram needed? or is there more to it?

Looks like the GPS display.

I'd say it wouldn't work, its been said before by someone on a clubman forum that the ignition barrel, cluster and ecu codes must match for immobiliser to let the car start. You'd probably have to re-flash the ecu to allow it to accept non matching part.

Also, you'd need the GPS module to be installed, and from what I've seen there aren't any modules with Australian maps.
