Just want to know what pressure i should be running in my tyres. I'm back to the stock steelie 15"s and the manual says 29F 26R. Oh, and i'm usually a lonely driver too. I was thinking that these numbers were a bit low... thoughts?

Car manufacturers always state slightly underinflated tyre pressures as it makes the car ride smoother on the road, they don't care that it'll wear your tyres out quicker, not their problem.
You can usually take what they state, add a couple of PSI and you should be somewhere about right. Another option of course is to contact the tyre manufacturer directly and see what the tyre "should" be running at, most tyre shops in my experience "don't know jack!" so I would take what they say "with a pinch of salt", try and get through to the Technical Dept at the "actual manufacturer" that makes your particular tyres, most tyre companies will have a Branch or main distributor in each State around Australia. |

I used to run 36F 34R on 15" Steelies. I found it nice and smooth, and handled great.

I thought the idea of a FWD car was to have the pressure down a tad on the front wheels to have less understeer/more grip?
