A quick primitive measure says the circumference of my head is about 62cm's : Now is that big? :

You should be able to buy a half decent approved one for between $550/1000,from any good bike shop or race/rally shop.

You can get a decent one for around $100 that is approved and would be fine for cage use - www.mcas.com.au or www.bikebiz.com.au - check out those ones for pricing.
Anything more expensive is designed for riders who will be wearing one all day and need light-weight, ventilation (and nice graphics i might add) ect. I assume yours is just for drag racing?
