Default street cars superstars/muscle car cruise 7 26th Jan '09

hey all,

the next muscle car cruise is coming up.
running in conjuction with street cars superstars, which is a drag racing event to find the toughest genuine road registered drag car ( to prove road worthiness they have to do a 45km cruise : )

there is also a cruise for the people not wanting to race from Harry's at Liverpool to WSID.

entry is $180 for drag racing (with limited spot available) or $50 for the cruise from harry's.

entry forms and more details are here at http://www.streetcarsuperstars.com.au

Previous muscle car cruises have had some huge numbers attend but they haven't had any F.T.F. cars there yet.....

who's coming?

The question would be better directed to those who can answer it.
As we having nothing to do with this events organization.

But, if you want me to throw you a bone.
Most events have rising costs due to public liability insurance, amongst other things.
Some insurers are asking into the millions in coverage = sky high premiums.

Take the Summernats for example, they claim they pay into the "hundreds of thousands in insurance, but they get the entrant and spectator numbers to compensate that, a small event like this would have no hope in paying that kind of $$$. But in so saying would have a much smaller insurance.
The bills will always have to be covered, otherwise no event.
