i think it has a lot to do with people not wanting them because they are a "special" model, especially the XR8's and GT's.

id rather work up, say, an EB Ghia V8 compared to an EB GT , for the simple fact that modding a GT is sacreliage (sp..).

not only that, the seccond you mod anything on it its resale plummets because its not original.

add to that, people trying to sell a "tickford" car are often asking way too much for it.... an EB Ghia is much better value, especially if you're not leaving it standard

I still have my ELXR8 & wont be getting rid of it for a long time.
Its now at the stage to start to do some mods.
When I first joined the club in 2001 it was all EF & EL XRs.
Your right you dont seem to see to many around.
The clubs have turned into BA clubs lol.

Why are antagonist posts from members with high post counts so common now?

Sounds nice Dave!!! Unfortunately I've got a gouge down the rear quarter. I should fix it but I'm too lazy at the moment!!!! That said, the wife and kids think I treat it like the shroud of turin!!! They never get ride in it and it's NEVER dirty!!!
