Yeah ... but it looks like the kit will fit an EFI petrol car better for dual fuel ... than a vehicle that is already factory dedicated gas (set up like a carby) without an EFI fuel rail or holes in the head for the injecters already.

I think I'll just stick with the factory Vialle system until there is another way of getting around it ... or just go a manual valve setup and get rid of the computer controlled unit ... allowing more tunability.

Here is the 2nd email answering a few more questions i have but he didnt answer what happens because i am pushing the 200 kw limit on the systems

Ashley,

Whilst we have not carried out a full blown ADR Fuel Consumption test on the SVI system preliminary evidence suggests that the fuel consumption is approximately 15% higher to petrol operation compared to 25% higher to petrol consumption with the second generation system.

With regards to the LPG cylinder we have quoted a standard cylinder, the problem with a donut cylinder is the issue of the spare wheel relocation. If you have a stereo system in your vehicle at the moment we would recommend that the vehicle be inspected to see if we can work around it.

With regards to Liquid Injection - no we will not be pursuing this technology for the foreseeable future.

Any more questions please call.

The guys at sprint gas are very helpful and explained that a good vapour sys is going to be around the 3000 pound mark from england and i can get a top of the line pc controlled unit in adelaide for about $2100 inc. fitted and also explained in detail the downfalls of both types of system and the mixing of propane/ Butane and how it effects the gas burn in the car , Both forms eg ventura and vapour are going to have slight negative effects on power outputs

I had an accountant look over it, and he felt it was too risky. If I had the cash "spare" I would've taken the chance anyway, but 3 kids and a mortgage means cash is far from spare.
