Default Missis says the car misses

Hi all, AU XR8 111 auto, My missus has been complaining all week that the car sometimes , as she described it, misses. She said it happens when you first take off and then sometimes whilst you are driving it in top gear.

I took it for a drive this morning and it drove quite well with no missing at all. Then, whilst I was driving along in top gear, the car felt like it changed from 4th to third then back to forth. This happened twice in about 2 seconds.

I had the auto serviced about one month ago.

Any ideas ?
