G'Day,
I am getting the diff done next week or the week after. When this is done I will want to take the car to get tune ASAP. Just to get the best fuel economy I can and get the most out of the cam/diff etc. Also to get my speedo corrected. I will be getting the tune done now, and it will be the last one for some time! So i want to get the best results and give the car the best chance of getting the tune perfect. So I have decided to give the car a big big service and go from there. Here is a list of things I plan on doing - New belly of oil - New plugs - New leads - Install the bosch 044 - New fuel filter - Clean K&N My questions are.. 1) Is there anything else I should add to this list pre tune? 2) What pruducts/brand would be best to buy for the items on the list? I just want to try and get it right the first time! Cheers, Matt

Hi Matt,
With what you have combined with what you are buying, you should see good returns in your tune. But, in saying that, I would recommend talking to your tuner and running that list by him as well as telling him what you already have fitted in case he can think of anything else. Let us know the before/after dyno results.

I would recommend finding the right tuner. Going to the right tuner in the first place, can mean a big difference.
I would also recommend, if you haven't already getting a better thermostat. The cooler your engine runs, the better the results for tuning. A coolant replacement, isn't a bad idea either. And as D1XR2C, if you can clean the throttle body it would be a good idea. And put some good fuel in there, so they can tune it properly to the type of fuel you normally put in there. Goodluck!

When i turboed the car I put a cooler running therostat in. Did wonders for the hot weather, car runs great lol.
I have also cleans the TB out not long ago and use premium each tank full. SO that stuff should be pretty good. I am considering a forum sposor Autotech(I think) in canberra to tune it as its pretty close.
