I ordered my ZETEC yesterday! Morello in manual. It will be the missus's car which means i get my nice EL XR6 back!!!
It should arrive in April hopefully before my wedding. One thing is for sure, I will be filling the car up with Dynamat as the demo I drove must of done permanant damage to my ears.

They do make a fantastic amount of road noise! I'm comming from the perspective of a 5 litre VP with all the body deadner and insulation removed with large headers that run half the length of the car and even I thought the fiesta made alot of road noise. Like all good but unusual things you get used to it (or turn the music up)

Well done mate, just ordered the wife one too Vision. My wife like the Morello until she saw it in the flesh, car yard had Morello on the Mondeo. It's still a nice colour the Mondeo needed a really good going over.
Car yard rang this arvo said it will take around 8-9 weeks Can't wait. |

Good to hear - hope the wait is what the dealer says
I found the road noise about similar to other small cars we tested. |

Not wrong there mate. The colour specs in brochure to the real deal not that great. My wife really likes the squeeze (green-ish) colour but haven't seen one yet so it's Vision that’s ordered.
You’re starting off well mate by ordering the colour she wants. All the best on the big day, I can see all the boys rocking up in the Fiesta.............lol If anyone has seen the Squeeze colour please post. |

Vega how green is the Squeeze, is it anything like the brochure or is it a different colour all together. Do you have any photos of one?

The Top Gear review was a Squeeze car, Moondust Silver looks fantasic, I haven't got picture of it other than some very early in the morning with no light and dew on the car:P but it's great. Both the blues are good in preson too. In fact I haven't seen a bad colour yet, however I haven't seen Morello in person my wife would have had that if one was available but in the end shes very happy with the moondust. Everyone that's seen the car can't stop talking about how good looking it is (even males)

i second that, everyones just amazed how much it has changed and kept saying its a really good looking car. I think its because its not all cutesi like the mazda 2.. its got more of an angry look to it. And not forgetting to mention, the awesome interior. Dont you just love how when u unlock your car, the headlight and rear light lights up along with the dash. So good at night. :P |
