Unhappy North Shore Sydney or Chatswood members?

I hope this doesn't get closed or moved to the pub forum... I realize not everyone from this club goes there so I wanted to see if I can get some help finding a place to rent in Chatswood... (and to keep it car related: within easy public transport access to local FPV or Ford events ;) )

I'm starting a job on Monday in Killarney Heights and was hoping to find a place to rent (shared accomodation/furnished room) near the Chatswood train station...

If anyone is looking for a roomate or know someone who is, PLEASE let me know ASAP... I'm staying at a real crappy hotel until Saturday and would really like to find something in the next few days. My budget is up to $300 per week.

Many thanks!

I'm willing to pay a reasonable finders fee.

Please help.

Hi mate,

Nothing springs to the top of my mind, however try domain and myhome for rentals. Try gumtree, cracker etc for those looking for a person to rent with...

Renting in Sydney is tight as it is, good luck.

Cheers

oh yes, I've literally spent two days already doing nothing but research on domain, gumtree and the other sites you mentioned. I expanded my search area too, but I don't have a lot of options being without a car and having to rely on public transport to get my *** to work every morning... so yea, I need all the help I could get.

Thanks to Maurice for taking me around Chatswood/Artarmon!

I found a decent place on domain.com.au and am moving in tonight... the rent is very much on the expensive side so I'll see how it works out over the next 8 weeks, in the meantime I'll be looking for other options that may become available.

So if anyone in this area knows someone looking for a roomate, please don't hesitate to let me know.

thanks

Happy to hear you've found a place Russ. Hope it all works out for you and you can settle in finally. No more living out of a suitcase, that's got to be a plus !

See ya!
