Default New Focus Coilovers!

Hi Focus owners!

I am very pleased to announce that Pedders has just expanded its range of eXtreme XA Coilovers to now include 2005-on Focus. Two Focus fitments (2000-on and 2005-on) are now available.

Pedders eXtreme XA Coil-overs recently won the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association award for the best new performance product - an award which is judged by our peers in the industry.

For all the details/features/fitments etc check out http://www.pedders.com.au/products/52

I have a set on my XR6 Falcon and (although I know I might be biased!) they are simply incredible. One of the most common questions we get relates to the range of valving adjustability - in short it is enormous - position 0 (full soft) is generally quite soft with some owners reporting a consistent ride with original - 30 (full hard) is firm without undue harshness. On my Falcon XR6 18 on the back and 16 on the front is my preference for daily driving but it is very much a personal thing. The other major feature of the XA, especially versus many other options in the market place is the height adjustability does not affect suspension travel. When you consider the features/benefits also they are incredibly priced!.....but again I am biased!

Speaking of price don't forget to access our special Ford Forums website section which can only be accessed by going to the Pedders Suspension sponsor section on this forum - included in this mini-website section which we setup just for Ford Forum members is a 5% discount voucher which you can print and present to your local Pedders outlet. Check out the store finder on www.pedders.com.au for your local Pedders expert. If anyone has had eXtreme XA Coilovers fitted or does in the future drop me a line and let me know your thoughts.

Cheers

SCOTT PEDDER

That's not bad, would be about $1500 with a 5% discount. What dampeners do you use, and who/where manufactures them? Also, does it include camber plates for the front?

Very nice. Is the rear a single coilover unit or the spring is separate to the adjustable shock.

The Focus XA's do not come with a camber adjustable top plate.

The rear suspension is the same as O.E. where the coil is seperate to the shock. It comes with its own height adjsutable spring seat. The rear shocks retain the full extreme XA valving adjustment and are also length adjustable to ensure that the rear coils are trapped when you have them at the desired ride height and full suspension travel is maintained.

Do you have anything to combat the camber problem the rear has when lowered.

1 point of good is that if something goes wrong with it you have a Pedders Dealer to help.
