I decided to run the car today just couldnt help myself. :
Managed to get 5 passes in.
First pass was my PB run of
14.349 @ 99.54mph
2nd Run i got no time :
3rd run i got a worst PB of 17.677 @ 68 mph had no traction that pass so just decided to cruise to the finish line :evil3:
14.386 @ 98.9 mph for the 4th
And a 14.353 @99.51 for the 5th.
Im pretty happy with those results and glad i took it out.Nice and cosistant.
If theres any club members who have never raced before i highly reccomend it..Its good fun.

Well done Matt, good to meet you there today!

I managed a mere 13.6 @ 106mph, my lack of traction and launching prowess let me down. Was awesome fun though. I suppose not bad for my first ever drag race(proper one that is...lol).

The pro lights suck when you are a first timer.

Regards
Mick

I just had a look at my sons video of my second run (16.9 seconds), whilst it was a crap time, jeez it looked good smokin it up and sideways for 200m of the 400m run and still hitting 99mph ;)

Might go on youtube yet...lol

Was well worth the punishment to the dunlops.

Yeah, was a good effort from everyone, not so good being a part time spectator though . Did anyone see what was under the bonnet of that early model volvo? amazing 9sec. car.

G'day mate, was that the cream coloured one? if so I didn't see in the engine bay although it was a v8 of some sort. I suspect he may of had a vortech v2 or similar, judging by the sounds it mate?

Very much a sleeper hey?
