How often do you flash??? - Page 3

oh ok, my mistake. I understand now, its not the flash box thats at fault. gotcha

Well I guess we all take the risk if we play to some degree right?. Its what we do when something does happen to break. Most of us just pay for it to be fixed. I know thats what I will do should/when this ever happen to me. AU's are cheap so in some ways I can regard it as an affordable repair. For me, Im prepared to take a little risk if it means I get a little fun in the short term.

Reflashing the ecu continuosly will kill it, but we're are talking about thousands of times on adverage so the risk of the ecu failing in your life time if doing so once a month are more or less no existant, once a week still unlikely.

I dont believe so. This is an inbuilt system from ford. If SCT knew how to turn it off I think they would have done that by now. I reckon to over come this you will need to fit a completely different system., which in turn is more money than people here would want to spend.
