Wasn't having at go at you mate or your situation.
Was just saying that stability is key, whichever method you use If the parents can remain amicable, that helps tremendously. Clearly it has for you and your ex. When money is involved, it becomes difficult but I was saying that issues about money are often underlined by issues with the relationship. Cheers |

Well that's the thing isn't it, BOTH parents working together and being amicable but unfortunately it's not something that everyone can do.
In one of my cases, I offered a fair access plan to the ex but he said no. Gave some ridiculous reasons as to why he couldn't do it yet continues to be an absolutely devoted "fortnightly" parent to his other child from a previous relationship. Go figure! I highly doubt there'll ever be anything amicable between us. But he doesn't skip on maintenance and never has so that should heal all her wounds _ I have no anger over my situations. The choices the other parent makes frustrates me but anger, nup, not a drop of it. Lol I have enough grey hairs already thanks. As long as I'm doing the right thing by my kids and using their maintenance on their needs, then all is good. My kids are a happy bunch. As for child support, the system will always be unfair to some and fair to others. If it's possible to keep them out of it and work it out between yourselves then that's the best way to go.
