Default Electric aerial swap.

Hey all, my nephew has an AU3 SR sedan with a standard single CD player and manual lock down aerial, and he wants to fit an electric aerial from an AU2 Futura that had a 6 stacker in it and NO half height switch.
Does anyone know if the AU3 SR standard single CD player had the trigger wire for the electric aerial fitted to it and what colour wire is it?

Here's robjunior's reply to my PM regarding the electric aerial fitment......

gday linz, open the front passenger door and remove the side cover from the dash(the plastic that you need to remove to remove the dash)have a look in there to see if the wiring is there.it should be taped up.the 2 wires are red/white trace and yellow/green trace.if that is there just plug the aerial in and it should work.if not the trigger wire is a red/dark blue trace located at the back of the stereo, see if this is connected. if so and aerial is still not working look at the BEM (under dash where your left knee would be when driving)to see if the wiring i discribed is also located there. pin numbers on BEM are A11, A24, B18.

my car is a series 1 update and it had all the wiring there,it also only had the single din radio/tape player from factory. just have a look around the area i discribed earlier to find the plug, plug in and away you go.

if your still having trouble contact me again, only to glad to help out.

sorry about the long reply just trying to give as much info as possible.

good luck
cheers rob

Thanks once again Rob....Linz.
