I have not seen a car being towed in SA for a long time. Is it still legal? JOHN.

Rang the S A police today re towing a car. they said it is legal as long as you have a white rag tied in the middle of the tow rope. They also said that they would appreciate a sign on The back of the towed car reading CAR UNDER TOW. also put hazard lights on car that is being towed. John.

I would of thought you would need a permit to tow.

I don't know if the law is the same in SA as NSW but here you can tow a car before 6 and after 9 or something like that. So there is time allocated.
