hi all,
i'm looking to replace my current daily and i've set my budget for $15k max. now ideally i'd like an au3 xr8. personally i have no issue with the au2 xr8 (as long as it's the 220kw version). i just purely like the au3 more because of the bodykit. is it unrealistic to think i'll find a manual, au3 xr8 with under 100k on the clock for $15k? alternatively i'll have to re-evaluate what i set my sights on... |

ermm its not unrealistic but itll probably take you a while to find a manual one which meets the rest of the criteria lol
youd definitely be able to get a series 2 for the price

It is a buyer's market these day's , especially for V8's, but to find a manual and under 100thou will be harder, I'd allmost look at the 1st one you do find if it was good as they don't pop up that often.

After writting what I just wrote and then now looking at this gunmetal one you posted, I will add, I wouldn't rush into the sale that quick at that price, they do commend good money, for a manual serries III but not that much money.

i'm in qld. would probably look as far as syd. vic is too far.
i'v heard that the grey colour in particular on au xr's can fade on the nose cone over time? |

i'm currently tossing up between an au3 xr8 and a ba xr8.
could obviously pick an au3 up cheaper. and to be honest i like the look of both externally. internally i prefer the ba. obviously the ba has a more powerful engine, but i'm sure i could have fun in either. i reckon i'm open to either if it's the right one. that grey au looks fantastic if it was cheaper. |
