since joining i thought my xr8 was round 170-180 kw (never dyno'd) with the mods that have been done to my car. also never had a pass with it on the 1/4 mile . i am a long way from most tracks and work keeps me away as well. so if you could give me a rough idea as reading many of your threads recently suggests that it may be more than i thought.

There was a guy with fairly similar mods who ran a low 14. That was an auto EB XR8 and had thermofans.

yeah thats the one . inline resistor that tricks the ems into thinkin that the start up temp (cold) and the fuel map change etc used stays like it all the time. there is some instructions i had to follow though to do it. bring the car up to operating temperature ,turn the car off pull the fuse to the ems or disconnect the battery . wait a couple mins join one end of the resistor to the red wire and the other to the black reconnect the battery . start the car and go for a slow short drive then go for a fast hard as drive to reset the perameters the difference should be roughly like when its cold the car seems to go harder then even out, well after the change it should stay that way. mine seemed to improve when i fitted the cold air induction cheers Kev |

low 15s sounds about right. Pull the resistor off and you might go a bit faster.
