Default AUII Remote trouble programming two!!

I just bought a brand new AUII remote on EBAY for $50 and followed the usual instructions to program. It worked fine but now the old one doesnt work? I re-programmed the old one and it worked again but then the new one wont work. Whats going on. I need a remote for both sets of keys. Seems I can only program 1 remote for the old girl.

you need to program them both at the same time, ie, get into programming mode, press unlock on one, then the next one, then exit programming mode.

does that make sense? then they will both work...
