I am currently building a 1964 XM Falcon to enter in the Camp Quality esCarpade, to help raise money for Camp Quality to help them bring smiles to the faces of children with cancer.
We need your help to raise as much money as possible to achieve our goals. We ask your if you would please make a donation via our entrant page on the Camp Quality website which goes toward our fundraising total. All donations over $2 are tax deductable and go directly to Camp Quality to help them to weave their magic. When making a donation please be sure to leave a comment on our page to show that the crew from the Australian Ford Forums and car enthusiasts are a great bunch of people. To make a donation or view our entrant page click here http://www.campquality.org.au/events...er-mobile.aspx To find out what cCamp Quality is all about click here http://www.campquality.org.au/public/home.aspx To help us in the form of sponsorship for the XM or to view the build up of the car for the esCarpade and see what we are all about visit our Blog at http://boogermobile.blogspot.com/ If everyone made a small donation it would soon add up and make a huge difference to those children living with cancer. So please help and make a difference and show you are all great people. Thanks Scott. |

We are open to suggestions, for items to auction or raffle. We need quite a bit for the car at this stage. We have a cabinate maker and panel shop about to jump aboard and they have aggreed to supply materials, and blow the final coat of paint on.
We however are in need of other things for the car also like : Engine rebuild Brakes done up Suspension rebuild Body rubber kit Just to name a few. We also need to raise at least $4500 in donations which goes directly to Camp Quality. If anyone wishes to become a sponsor, and would like to find out more, we can be contacted via our Blog at http://boogermobile.blogspot.com/ Thanks, Scott |

I think you may need to explain exactly how the charity ends up being the beneficiary of my hard earned $$$
Why would I just not donate to the cause rather than wasting it on a rebuild of a car? Maybe I missed something here??? |

$50 from me. Not much, but better than nothing. Hope you reach your target. Cheers, Dan P.S. I wasn't sure where to leave a comment, so no reference to AAF unfortunately. |

No sorry, only via the card method on the site.
However If you wanted to donate to Camp Quality you could ring their head office on 02 9876 0500 to find out if there is a way. Just let them know you want it to count toward Team Booger mobiles fund raising total for the escarpade. |

G'day boys.
No cash from me but you are helping a great cause. I also chose an XM as my event car. Not Camp Quality but a charity in Queensland. My wife and I have done 8 events since we built the car and it is tough as nails. I'm busy fundraising for our event which starts in August which is why I can't send you any cash but I hope lots of others send you something. Cheers Keith

Yes it is alllready posted on other forums I have been a member of for some time like this one. I would not however just join a forum mearly for the sake of plugging the cause. I look at it this way, If i contribute to a forum as a member for some time, asking for some assistance down the track does not seem too much to ask when needed.
Ps: 1 or $2 is all it takes to make a difference. Last edited by Bmobile; 22-06-2009 at 08:18 AM. |
