Default OBD2 connector/ Scan tool Laser 2001

I am working through some engine probs with my 2001 Laser. I know where the Ford test equipment is plugged in to interrogate the ECU - near the left strut
But does anyone know if these cars also have a hidden OBD2 port - 16 pin D shape connector. Perhaps these cars are not equipped with an OBD2 port. Can anyone shed some light on this.

In any case does anyone have a scan tool that reads trouble codes from this port near the strut. Can your scan tool also data log values from ECT, MAF, advance, etc

Regards

Peter
