Who here has ever owned or driven a 1600 sport? they were the poor mans RS and i have seen a pic of one with a white and orange stripes.
I want to know what were they like and if it's something i should try and recreate as a project or if they were the butt of lots of jokes. |

Mate I had one back in pomme land, worked to 1760 with extractors and larger carbs, ran it on a 1300 box and back axle, loved it. Only have pics on hard copy otherwise I's post, of course classed as poor mans RS but lively enough to hold there own. Also had an 1100 fiesta super sport, both x flows and quite frankly quick and I rated them, the Harrier is the pic of the bunch for me, go to zuula.com and search on images, this will search accross about five engines and you will find some pics there, end of the day it's an escort so you know it's a winner.

That's wicked mate, some nice pics. It has the body styling I like. Just a little lip at the front and the spoiler at the back. I also like the stripes down the side. Something to think about anyway, and dream.
