Default I got fined in NSW for speeding, but there is no demerit points listed on the ticket

as the title states I have been fined in nsw and had a ticket written out but there is no points lost listed on the infringement?
is it like this on all NSW traffic infringement notices?
Have i still lost points?

I think you'll find that the points will get taken when the fine is paid and processed.

You'll lose 3 points if you were over by less than 15 km/h..This changes to 1 point after 1 July if less than 10km/h over

DO you live in NSW?

My mate got booked for drink driving, he paid the fine but did not get points or lose is Victorian license.

Now not sure if thats normal, or how it works. But he sure as well was not going to ask them!

Your now supposed to penalised with the same number of demerit points had you committed the offence in your home state. So if for instance you get fined in Victoria for 20 over and the offence was 3 points, but in NSW it was 4 and you carry a NSW licence, then you would lose 4 points in NSW.

You dont lose points, you gain them. They are demerits, not merits................

I know in Vic they put how many points on the actual ticket, do they do the same in NSW?

As far as penalties go, I believe they only share points between the eastern states.

With drink driving, you are only disqualified from driving in the state where the offence occurred.

For that you will lose your licence for three months and when you get it back you have another 4 points added to your licence.

If that 4 points puts you above 12 demerit points they will take your licence off you at the motor registry straight away. :

Talk about getting it both ways. I hope that gives you the answer you are after.
