Default TV - 1985 Police crime scene recreation: Need an LTD, Falcons, Cortina. Melbourne.

G'day fellas, another one here:

Vehicle 1: Criminals car
Ford Cortina TE or TF (Mk V) 1979-, Yellow preferred.

Vehicle 2: Criminals car
Ford LTD, FC or FD (2nd Gen) 1979-, Turquoise preferred.
similar to Fairlane ZJ - ZK

Vehicle 3: [General Duties car]
Ford Falcon, XD 1979-, sedan, White preferred.

Vehicle 4: [Detectives car]
Ford Falcon, XD 1979-, sedan, Mid-brown preferred.

Vehicle 5: [Detectives car]
Holden Commodore, VK 1984-, sedan, Fawn or tan preferred.

Short lead time - filming 21st or 22nd July in Melb. Feel free to let others know. Set in 1985.

Production company pays you direct, $250/day.

Sorry ppl, Falcons need to be XE 1985.
There are two scenes, one is earlier one is later.

XE's were only produced until 1983/4.
XF were produced 1984 to '87.
Major styling differences were made between the two models.

Need still white XE (or XF). Cortina & brown XE have been found.
Now needing an XC Panelvan in white

Ford LTD, FC or FD (2nd Gen) 1979-, Must be turquoise or green.
ZJ - ZK Fairlane also OK


Filming for this car is 23/07/2009.

i think you have the criminal's cars mixed up withe good guys cars.

shouldn't the crims be driving the holdens

^ it didn't take too long for the peanut gallery to come around

and no, you watch a show/movie of that era and the cops generally had commodores, seeing as they were the only local V8 offering amongst other reasons.
