MK1 Capri rubbers

I took out my old white headlining because it was ripped and brown out and Im wondering how I will be able to put another one in and around the edges of the front and rear glass. DO i need to take out my front and rear glass to stick it in or can it be done by mashing the edges of the lining under the rubber? I need front and read windscreen rubbers to do it properly as im doing a full respray anyway, and fix any rust if need be however it doesn't look too bad under there cos the previous owner shoved tar/sticky black stuff EVERYwhere, where can i get them? A new one would be nice as the chrome would really stand out, right now its shrunk by about a half and its faded completely dark. Im in Adelaide, Any help would be great thanks.

To refit a new headlining you really need to remove the front and rear windscreen, so if you're going to doing a full respray anyway I'd just wait until then to refit. New seals are available from Scotts Old Rubber:

When you remove the locking strip from the seal it shouldn't take too much to push the screen out but it may be a bit harder if there is a bit of that black windscreen sealer around it. When the windscreen and seal have been removed there should be some of the old headlining remaining which folds around the lip and is should be held on by a couple of small clips which you should hang onto for refitting the new one - they help keep the headlining in place when you refit the new seal.
