I have had a small group of club members comment on the extra traveling to shannons for our monthly club meetings.Due to the fact that our members are situated all over sydney including newcastle and the south of sydney any venue would be (just not practical).shannons is only a extra 15-20 min away from our old venue at ryde.Shannons also has ample safe parking and a bbq for our use and is free of cost. If any body has a venue that will supply all our requirements and is practical to ALL ftf members i'll take it into consideration with the ftf commitee.

Thanks for the consideration Matt I'm sure we all apreciate it. And I agree if anyone has any ideas that would be great. If not thanks Shannons for giving us this venue for our meetings.

I see it as a good excuse to go for a drive in my GT-P :-)
btw Frank....what were your thoughts of my takeoff last Friday....lol Who wouldn't want to see all those awesome cars before the meeting too??

Me and Dad have to come from Camden... which as you say is a good excuse for a drive... Also how many clubs can say that their meetings are held in a place that has affiliation with just about every kind of motoring in Aus!

heys guys we have made some inquires and have found any function room would have a cost associated eg ryde bowling club $165 for a room which would make our meetings very expensive being just under 2k a year im still open to free suggestions
